Workshop Day 1 (Tuesday August 16)
Yoga Chikitsa - Yoga as wellness
2 hours Movement based workshop
1 hour Fascia rolling & discussion
Yoga Chikitsa (primary series) develops a structurally balanced body that is physically prepared for “internal” yoga practice. You will be guided through the complete 1st Series of Ashtanga with the specific vinyasa of each asana counted in Sanskrit. Open to those ready to take their practice to the next level!
Highlights of this workshop include:
Yoga Chikitsa (Primary asana with Sanskrit counting method)
The method (vinyasa, drishti, bandha) in detail
Best modifications for stiff or injured yogis
Master jump-throughs and transitions
Following the asana practice, Adarsh will lead a session called the Yoga of Self Care.

Workshop Day 2 (Wednesday August 17)
NadiShodhana - Yoga as meditation
2 hours Movement based workshop
1 hour Fascia rolling, breath work, meditation
Let’s go deep! The intermediate series - with emphasis on advanced back bends, deep hip poses & arm balancing, practiced in concert with breath and mindfulness - intends to prepare you for the internal practice of yoga.
This workshop is for teachers and other dedicated yogis to practice Ashtanga’s traditional 2nd series in a small group of yogis of a similar level. You will be guided through the full intermediate series, plus you will learn how to self adjust and adjust others in core poses. to go deeper, safer in your practice.

NadiShodhana (Intermediate asana with Sanskrit counting method)
Clever progressions toward impossible poses
