The United Nations proclaimed June 21 as International Yoga Day to recognize the global impact of this ancient practice.India has generously given the world the eternal gift of yoga. It is our go alto create a community of #OneMillionYogis to give back and uplift India's underserved women and children on the specific day and onward.
在这个有意义的日子里,我们想探索瑜伽练习的核心是什么,如何通过关注身体层面和探索深的层次——如我们的情感和内在的智慧找到身体,心灵和精神的结合。在走向三摩地的八条道路上,Yamas和Niyamas为如何与自己和我们所处的世界互动提供了基础的指引,在不断的理解和实践的过程中,我们应该过上更好的生活。
On this meaningful day, we want to explore the core of our yoga practice, finding union of the body, mind and soul. By paying close attention to the physical and exploring deep layers, such as our emotion and inner wisdom. On the eightfoldpath towards Samadhi, the Yamas and Niyamas provide a foundation of observancesand insights on how to interact with oneself and the world we live in. Given understanding and practice they behoof us to live better lives.

Yoga Gives Back is a 501(c)3 non-profitorganization dedicated to raising awareness and funds in order to alleviatepoverty in India. We started in Los Angeles in 2007, determined to find a wayfor the global yoga community to help the poorest people in the country thatgave birth to YOGA. In 2014, the US yoga industry is reported to generate anastonishing 27 billion dollars and yoga’s popularity continues to grow worldwide. If a fraction of this resource can be redirected to help the poor estpeople in India, we can make a lifetime difference!! Many charita bleorganizations have emerged from within the yoga community, but Yoga Gives Backis a very unique campaign which shows our gratitude by supporting impoverished mothers and children in India. |
